Featured music will include movements from Robert Ray’s Gospel Mass, and works for string orchestra such as Shostakovich’s heart-wrenching Chamber Symphony, that will underscore the solemnity of the occasion and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s non-violent transcendence of the brutal divisiveness of his times.
